To the Titus family, especially remembered, as parents with 4 children in tow, the Titus family rushed into church just in time and filled up a row. I observed this cute couple and realized this was the best job I could see: parent. Ernie carried himeslf well into the hearts of us as students at Roseville High and attend the class reunions of 1964 every 5 years for as long as he could. He will be missd

Our family had the privilege of spending a lot of time with Ernie and all the Titus Family here and in the summers at Lake Tahoe. He was a great example of living by the principles in which he believed- strong ties with God and a firm belief in the importance of family. We especially enjoyed his sense of humor and fun ideas to keep all the kids and adults occupied. We will miss you, Ernie, but know you are resting in peace. May your family find peace also.

My deepest condolences to the Titus family. Ernie was more than a teacher to me, he was an educator. His abilities to educate was never more apparent than when I was a member of his speech and debate team. His coaching style helped me refine my speeches and delivery so I could enter speech competitions with confidence. Even today when I am asked to speak at my own joyful and sorrowful family occasions, I think of Ernie. I will always be very grateful for the encouragement he brought in my life. My only regret is that I was never a member of his tennis team because my backhand is still terrible. God Bless you Ernie, Rest In Peace.

We became friends with Dorothy and Ernie as neighbors in Sierra Gardens and at St.John's Episcopal Church. Ernie was a wonderful man, a gifted teacher and a fellow native of Massachusetts. Our condolences to the Titus family.

Ernie was the single most formative teacher in my life. His tutelage over 4 years of speech and debate gave me the foundation in argumentation, logic, and public speaking that made me a critically thinking, nationally ranked speaker, author and stage performer, albeit somewhat sloppy tennis player.
I will never forget his cheerful demeanor, his concerned warnings - "That's a bad scene, Norberg," or the fact that "A fact is a statement which can be proven true or false."
I had the good fortune to reach out to him last year and tell him personally what he meant to me.
My condolences and love to his family, Dot, Tim, Phil, Jill, and Mark. He will be missed.

Condolences to the family. He was a great man and a great teacher. He taught me so much and helped me grow as a teacher. It was an honor to follow him as PA announcer for Roseville football.

How sad - Mr Titus has passed away. (it is how I will always think of him) My condolences to Dorthy, Tim, Phil, Jill and Mark and of course all of his grandchildren. Mr Titus was a great and kind teacher. I enjoyed being taught discussion and debate by him. I can remember playing toy cars with Tim while we waited for the school bus at their house, Mr Titus would often joke and kid he was good to be around.
Take care all.

I send my condolences to the Titus families! Especially to you Tim! You were closest to my brother John Morales and I remember you last as we both worked in lawn maintenance and attended Sierra college Baptist Church. May God comfort you and give you peace and joy in the days ahead.

My prayers for God's comfort and peace to be with you all as your mourn Ernie's passing. I remember so well, the days when I had him as my debate teacher at Roseville High. I can still hear his giggle when one of us would get stumped trying to deliver our speeches in his class. That made it worse! But we all laughed about it afterwards. He helped make it a fun class to be in. His son Tim and I were good friends all through school and so was able to see him and his family on a social basis from time to time. He too insisted that I call him Ernie after our high school days. A very caring person is how I will always remember Ernie Titus.

Please accept my deepest condolences. I grew up with Mr. and Mrs. Titus, Tim, my dearest and lifelong friend Phil, Jill and Mark as neighborhood friends. Mr. Titus was one of the kindest men I had the pleasure of knowing since childhood. As a teen he also became my teacher. Rest in peace Mr. Titus.
