Since Frank passed I've been thinking often about all the years I've known Frank, Glenda, Julie, Keith, Carla, Kathy and their big, welcoming family of relatives, as I lived across the street from them for the first 25 years of my life. Memories include fun (and wild) water balloon fights, putting on shows on their big front porch while neighbors watched from the lawn below, parties in their lush, comfortable backyard, trips to the Placer County Fair yearly, putting on annual neighborhood Muscular Dystrophy Carnivals for the Jerry Lewis telethons, and lots and lots of shared loud, fun, relaxed laughter, for years and years. In later years when I visited that cherished neighborhood it was usually to hang out with Frank and Glenda and other close friends and neighbors at BBQ's graciously hosted by neighbors Chuck and Lily (and Linda and Laurraine), who are also longtime neighbors and beloved friends of all of ours. Lots of time reminiscing and relaxing, and fireworks on the 4th of July. I miss all of this, and wish we'd stayed closer in these busy years, but nothing can touch my vivid memories of those first 25 years, and the realization I've had in later years of how lucky I and so many others were to have grown up in that neighborhood. Thanks, Frank and Glenda, and Julie, Keith, Carla, and Kathy. I'll never forget any of you as long as I live. My condolences to Julie, Keith, Carla, Kathy and all of Frank and Glenda's family and friends. We sure do miss the loud, relaxed laughter, don't we?

My Condolences to the Basque Family,

I worked with Frank several years, as well as bowling with him. He was a good man whom I enjoyed and was privileged to know. May good memories fill your minds and hearts through this difficult time.

With Sincere Sympathy,

January 12, 2012

Dear Kathy and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. Mr. Basque was one of the kindest men I have ever met. I will never forget is gentle and loving touch he showed to Glenda. You could see the love between the two that was never forgotten.
My heart felt sympathies to you all. Sincerely, Carol Sceranka (Emeritus Senior Living)
