Still missing you brother!

I first met Trenchie when I was in the forth grade. He must have been in the 10th grade. He was always busy being creative but he was kind to us. As the years passed I dated Renee for three years and got to know him better. Unassuming and genuine at rest with himself but still keeping busy. He led a fine fusion folk group before Dawg music was coined. They were hot. He sold me my first leather jacket. I still know where it is. Jonnie and Renee thanks for sharing your brother with me. We were fortunate. He worked and loved in a way that will forever leave us better. You will see his wake in all who met him. He showed us how to be ourselves with no apologizes needed. So glad you all touched my life. love, Chris

I knew the man for close to 40 years met him at the Marin City flea market around 1974 we became quick close friends we had a lot of good times bad times all kinds of times together.
I hadn't seen him for about 5 years. I still felt closer than family to the guy.
I will miss you good buddy, I don't think we will see his type again. Happy trails Trench. Ur buddy Johnny.

Thanks for counting me as one of your pals Trenchie. We go way back. The clothing and Indian Blanket are now even more valuable to me than ever. Everytime I put the blanket over me, my wife or daughter I think of you. Peace be with you old friend.

Warren, "Trench" or "Trenchie" never worked for me, but i guess i dug a Trench, you were one of my best friends ever!!! I miss you, your knowledge, your wisdom, your quirkyness, you were more of an older brother to me than my own brothers. I have a hard time believing you are gone, when my phone rings i still expect it to be you! You did not march to the beat of a different drummer, you were the drummer, and what a vast array of drums there were in your ensamble (along with a multitude of other musical instruments), to call you unique doesn't begin to define the individual that was my friend! I think a good measure of a persons life is to look at the impact that they have on others, I for one will never look at sun-glassses or levi's (and so many other things you opened my eyes to) without thinking of you, for the rest of my life, and I think that you affected a great number of others the same way. You are missed, you will be missed, but you are also still with many of us every day! To your family I express my condolences as i share with them the sadness we all have experienced since you have passed. 'Til we meet again at some thrift-store or flea-Market in the sky, I seriously doubt you'll be very hard to find... my good friend!!!

You are greatly missed, by us. It was a wonderful and sometimes crazy life we had together, that should have lasted longer. You were unique in this old world. With our love always, your family, Laurie, David, and Warren.
