Barbara Willet Obituary

Barbara, 81, of Townsend, Montana, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024. She was born in Auburn to the late Helene (Arnse) Northrup and Donald Race and grew up in Port Byron, NY.
Barbara retired from Auburn OTB and in her younger years she waitressed at Woodacres, Locastro's and The Sunset Restaurant. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out. She loved people and will be remembered for her infectious laugh.
She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Race, daughter, Tina Smith (Richard Pfeifer), son, Jeffrey Campanello, stepchildren: Amy King (Matt), Laney Pantori and Ken Willet (Don), her grandchildren: Katie Smith (great-granddaughter, Madison Jardin), Timothy Smith (Erin Chalupnicki), step-grandchildren: CJ and Matt Pantori, husband, Jerry Willet. Many cousins, nieces and nephews, all whom she loved very much.
Barb was predeceased by her husband, George Ewanechko May 4,1999 and her son, Larry Campanello April 3, 2024.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Port Byron Federated Church, 35 Texpultz Pkwy., Port Byron, NY 13140. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice of Central NY. https://www.hospicecny.org/donate-ls/.
