AUBURN - Matthew Becker, 35 of Auburn passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 18, 2021 at his home. Born in Syracuse, April 3, 1985, Matt lived most his life in Auburn.

He was a graduate of Auburn High School Class of 2003. Matt was a unique person and enjoyed hiking, juggling, making everyone laugh and living life to the fullest. Above all, he was a loving father, son, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his parents Lisa Becker and Donald Becker of Brewerton and Joseph Yurco of Weedsport; two children: Tapangah and Everrett Becker of Auburn; two brothers: Joshua Becker of Cicero and Zachery Yurco of Auburn; one sister Nichole Becker of Brewerton; grandfather John Yurco of Auburn, grandmother Lynne Wilbur of Liverpool, grandmother Jeanne Harris of AZ; nephews: Owen and Gavin Becker; and several aunts, uncles and cousins; a very special cousin Sophia Yurco.

Funeral services for Matt will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South Street, Auburn.

Contributions may be made to "Matt Becker Memorial Fund", for his minor children, and can be mailed or dropped off to any Lyons National Bank. A GoFundMe me page to be set up later for Matt Becker Memorial Fund.

Matt was the kindest soul I have ever met and will truly be missed by so many. We shared many memories thru the years but my favorite will be all our fun times working together at welch allyn. He made work so much fun we would challenge each other everyday for a number and we would get it and he would laugh and dance. He truly had the most positive soul and was always so happy he had his own unique light that he blessed with all of us. Matt keep an eye on your kids n family they need you more than ever now. This just doesn´t seem real! As kids I remember being with you all the time.. I practically lived with you all. As we got older and moved further from each other our time and conversations together got shorter. I remember all the good laughs, and trying to come up with a story to tell your dad (my uncle) so we didn´t get in trouble for being late or whatever we got ourselves into! We never did get into to much though! I remember the day we stopped by and got shadow, one of our few times we got together and updated each other on life! Standing around while you kick the Hackysac for hours. Fun times that I will always remember. My last time seeing you was just 2 weeks ago. It was short but glad I got to see you. Your personality was one of a kind! You were a unique person and that´s what I loved the most. RIP until we meet again!

Matt, I am lost for words. You are an amazing nephew. You had so much love and happiness in you that you gave to everyone. You brought smiles to all you came in contact with. And you spread that to so many. You were one of a kind. I remember all the times when you were younger and your parents lived across hall from me in an apartment and we used to leave doors open so you and Brian and Ken could run back and forth. And you dumped orange juice in my fish tank and you said fishy´s were hungry. And then you became a dad and had two wonderful kids. And you were so amazing to them. And I got the chance to spend time with them while you worked. All the things you used to do for me. And always messaging me to see how I was doing. There are way to many memories. I am so proud to be your Aunt. You are truly going to be missed by so many. And I know your up there juggling and doing your unique things you do for the family now. And watching over all of us. I love so much. Thank You for all the great memories. Until we meet again.
