Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Thurs. day, April, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Glovervillle, SC, with Father Peter Clarke celebrant. Interment will be private. Born in Aiken, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Bennie and Bessie Herndon Padgett. She was a Homemaker and attended Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Surviving are a son, Michael Padgett, North Augusta, S.C.; daughter, Amanda DeRome, Detroit, MI; sisters, Rose Abbott, Beech Island, SC and Mary Purvis, Langley, S.C.; brothers, Phillip Padgett, Bath, S.C., Johnny Padgett, Langley, S.C., Michael Padgett, North Augusta, S.C., and Woodrow Padgett, Langley, S.C.; and a grandson, Nikai Andre DeRome, Detroit, MI. Her parents, Bennie and Bessie Herndon Padgett and Billy Padgett, preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, P.O. Deborah touched my heart with her intelligence, her sense of humor and her willingness to help. Her kindness to my mother will always be remembered. Deborah resides with the angels now, but she will be forever in our memories and in our hearts.
