Julie Combs Obituary

EVANS, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, December 28, 2010, Mrs. Julie Elizabeth Pond - Combs wife of Thomas N. Combs. Mrs. Pond-Combs was born in Augusta, GA. She graduated from Evans High School and worked for A.B. Beverage Company. She loved scary movies, loved to be on her computer and loved all kinds of animals. Mrs. Pond-Combs helped care for her mother's horses, dogs and cats. She was most kind hearted like her Daddy and is with him now. Family members include, husband, Thomas N. Combs, mother, Elizabeth (Betty) F. Pond of Evans, father, the late Joseph R. Pond, daughter, Morgan A. Pond of Charlotte, NC, sisters, Cathy P. Varnadore (Doug) of Appling and Cheri P. Hattaway (Trent) of Charlotte, NC, grandmother, Virginia C. Hamilton of Augusta, nine nieces and nephews and beloved Aunts and Uncles. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Rev. Charles Broome officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials contributions may be made to the Joseph R. Pond Memorial Foundation, PO Box 3087, Evans, GA 30809.
