Ruth Jones Obituary

Retired Civil Service Employee EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Ruth S. Jones, Entered into rest Monday, April 11, 2005 at University Hospital, the wife of Mr. Robert L. Jones, Jr. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 2 PM at Martinez United Methodist Church with Rev. Peggy Lowe officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Family and friends will meet at the church. Pallbearers will be Jim Connor, Tom Vaught, Dennis McCunniff, Eddy McDonald, Bobby Connor, Kevin Trammell and Thomas McCunniff. Additional family members are four daughters, Beth Jones McDonald of Naguabo, Puerto Rico, Ann Jones McCunniff of Winston-Salem, N.C., Gail Jones Connor of Martinez, and Kay Jones Vaught of Evans; one brother, Albert T. Stephenson of Richmond Hill; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was born in Omro, Wis., a retired civil service employee, a member of the Martinez United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
