Spc Gates Obituary
Ft. Bliss, TX—SPC. Tyler Ray Gates entered into rest on Thursday, April 15th, 2021 in Fort Bliss, Texas. SPC. Tyler Ray Gates funeral services will be held Friday, April 30th, 2021 at 11:30AM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with full Military honors. Interment to follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
SPC Gates was born in Augusta, Georgia and was the son of Bert Gates and Donna Adams. He is preceded in death by his brother David M. Gates. Paternal grandparents; Bernard and Jettie Gates. Maternal grandparents; Mary A. Jarvis and Larry P. Eures Sr. Maternal step-grandmother; Carleen Eures and niece; Kayleigh Lay.
In addition to his mother and father he is survived by a step mother Angie Gates and step father Chad R. Adams. Four brothers; Andrew Gates, Greg Gates, Michael Lay Jr., and Thomas Lay. Three sisters; Heather Osborn, Brooke Akridge, and Alesha Adams. Maternal step grandfather; Mark T Jarvis. Maternal Step-Grandparents; Jed and Justine Adams. Paternal Step Grandparents; William and Brenda Readdy and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him very much.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 30th, 2021 from 10:00AM to 11:30 AM at Bellevue Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Valor Station at 3042 Eagle Drive, Augusta, GA 30906.
