Jeanette,
Our sincere sympathy and love are with you and your family. I can't explain my true feelings of his death. I can still hear his voice when he called me, "Gert, this is your cousin Shug." I miss him deeply. Sorry I was unable to attend the Memorial Service, but I was there in spirit. Hope to see you soon.
Your cousin,

Sug (pronounced SHUG), which is short for "sugar", these words are for you. Since my return to the area in 2004, you, my dad and I shared many times and hours together. Whenever
we talked on the phone, you would re-
fer to yourself as Willie, but I never referred to you as Willie, eventhough I knew your name. SHUG was all my dad and I ever called you, and we felt close as friends and family as we talked about life and its many mysteries. Though I am 12 years your senior, we shared much and many things unlike those of our ages. There really was no age barrier nor bridging the gap in our conversations. I am clearly reminded of our love and distinct appreciation and respect for each other; we were, and still are very close friends and family.
Jeanette, and children, may God continue to richly bless and keep you. Monica, I love you and am here if you ever need my shoulder to lean on. For whatever reason.
Our condolencies are lovingly expressed to all.....

Mrs. Dickerson,
I got to know Mr. Willie just before he retired from the mill as I worked next door and he came over everyday to have lunch at our department. He made me laugh with his stories and was always speaking wonderful of you. He will be truly miss, my prayers and thought are with you and your family.

Mrs. Dickerson & Family,
I also worked with Willie at the mill & he was truly a very likable person & always had a smile on his face. I enjoyed knowing him and talking with him whenever he'd come into the office where I worked. I know you'll miss his terribly & I know what you're going through as I lost my husband 2 years ago & it has not been an easy road to travel, but with the Good Lord's help, He'll get us through the lonely days ahead. Call upon Him & He'll answer your every need. God Bless you.

I worked with Willie for 33yrs. and viewed him as my friend. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. My heart goes out to his loving family. God will embrace Willie and I know heaven will have a smile that will shine like a new star. Again my thoughts and prayers are with you in this sad time.
