Dear Dianne, Bill, and Barb, I am so saddened to see this . We were second cousins. I have so many good Christmas Eve memories of the Witte house. Bill Mariann (who I'm named after) and Barb & John were always so kind to our family. Sorry we lost touch over the years. Sorry we didn't know John was sick. His smile and kindness will never be forgotten .

John was the epitome of what I think a father should be. His leadership and ability to communicate was impeccable with a 'can do' attitude all the time.
All around great guy... he'll be missed!
