Alba was my dear neighbor in Alta Mesa. We used to chat about the neighborhood and music. I took her to see my friend Rhonda sing at d'Vine, Pacino's and Apache Wells country club several times. One night we drove out to Grapeables in Fountain Hills to meet a friend. The band cancelled. It was late and we just had a drink and went home. I went to a bunko game she was hosting... didn't know how to play but we laughed thru the whole game. Her bunko friends had a dinner at Oregano's in Tempe, so I stopped by after work. They were outside on the warm evening and the misting system broke! I grabbed my wine and followed them away from the table... Good fun and always lots of laughter with Alba. I miss her sweet smile and laugh. I'll see you in Heaven my dear sweet Alba,
Love, Your friend Lani

We always enjoyed working with Alba at the Mesa Arts Center. She was outspoken with a straight-forward, get things done approach which was appreciated by many. She also had a great sense of humor.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Alba will be missed, but her spirit, love, and talents will remain through her children, grandchildren , and other family members.

My mother and Alba’s mother were good friends. I am closer to Ailene in age. I friended Alba on Facebook a few years ago. I wish I had known her better. My aunt and mother talked of Adalena and her children all the time. I am sorry for your loss.

Dear sweet Alba, former neighbor. Last year we said we were going to get together after the elections. We used to go listen to Rhonda Lester sing at D'Vine and Waldos and Pacino's. I played Bunko at your house. We went to Oregano's and the mister broke and sprayed water all over us. Sheldon would bark as if he was a big dog. He let me pick him up. I'm rambling on because my heart hurts. I haven't been on fb for several months and didn't know. I miss you sweet Alba, looking down at me from your Heavenly home.

I have many memories of Alba from working with her at the Mesa Arts Center from 2007 til 2015. Below is picture of the Front of House Fabulous Players preforming skits of Broadway Musicals. This picture is from "Cats". This presentation was part of the 2010 volunteer appreciation night. Alba is the "cool" cat with the white mask, claws out.
