To Mrs. Rodriguez and family,

We want you to know that our deepest, heartfelt sympathy is with you all. Mr. Rodriguez made quite a lasting impression on the McNally kids growing up, we remember him as a man that loved being around us kids - no matter who you were or what was going on. He was a hard working man, never hesitating to lend a hand to a neighbor in need or toss a ball around with us.

Though we all moved from the old neighborhood and time and miles seperated us, you all remained in our thoughts and when we would cross paths now and again - there was Mr. Rodriguez, as though nothing had changed - with a kind smile and even kinder words. What an impression he left on us!

Our deepest condolences to your family, Mr. Rodriguez will forever hold a special place in our hearts and lives.

To My Tia Socorro and my cousins:

I am so sad for all of us. Tio left too soon. It’s comforting to know how much you loved and respected him. He deserved it beyond measure. My Tio was an honorable man who took good care of his family. I have the best memories of him. It is his sense of humor and his love of music which I will especially treasure. He sure liked to tease people and to sing his favorite songs. My dad admired him and Tia Grace and Tia Pepe cherished him. He will be good company for Tata and Paul. I can see the three of them heading off to some lake to fish with a few little dogs trailing behind them…and a least one cat.

I will love and remember him always………
