Dear Great Aunt Rose and Family, I am the grandaughter of Uncle Tony's brother Tommy. My mother is Carmey Mazzarella. I just wanted to extend my deepest sympathies to all of you. I didn't know Uncle Tony well but if he was anything like his family and my grandfather, he was an incredible man. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. Love and sympathy, Lisa Hazard...

It is always heartbreaking to lose a person you love, but the memories of that loved one will help to get you through when the grief overwhelms you. He is in a much better place than any mere mortal can even imagine. All his infirmities are gone and he is young again. Although your eyes cannot see him he is truly there with you now. Always know that and always believe it. My deepest sympathy goes out to all his loved ones and may God give them the strength to get through this very sad time. Grieve not too long that he is gone, but rejoice forever that he was.

3/21/2007...Dear Aunt Rose, Joey, Anthony, Once again let me let you know how sad I feel with Uncle Tony's passing. He was a great man, father, husband, uncle and friend. His ready smile and kind heart made him a WINNER. His family was his LIFE!!! Grandma and Grandpa Mazzarella must have always been so proud of him. He was a true brother to my dad (the Sandwich Brothers). He always had kind and comforting advise for me. I will miss him alot. He was the Patriarch of the family. I am happy the Lord took him swiftly with no suffering. I will keep you all in my daily humble prayers. I am with you in spirit, especially on Friday.
