Yvonne, Art (Pudg), and Lynette,
I cannot tell you how sorry I was to hear about your Dad. I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss.
Please extend my sincerest condolences to your mom and the rest of your family as I know there is not a grieving message that can express how much he meant to all of you and how he will be missed.
Your dad was one of our neighborhood’s role model “Fathers”. Hardworking, caring and compassionate. A personal mission to leave this place better than he found it through acts of kindness, support and spirituality. Always family first. Community driven.
You should be proud of him as I know he is proud of all of you. The guiding light of a father’s wisdom is a gift that lives on forever. His demonstration of courage, strength and love paved the way for many.
I know that his thoughts, hopes and dreams live on in all of you and everyone he touched or inspired.
Although a good heart has stopped beating, a great soul has ascended into heaven. I pray that God will grant you the strength and may my prayers ease the pain of his loss.
May “Wero” Rest in Peace and may God bless his departed soul and welcome him to the joy of everlasting brightness in Heaven.
Con cariño y respeto

Went to school with a Art at Phoenix union and started working with him in the sanitation department for the city of Phoenix. Saw him around every once in a while and the last time was a few years ago at A .S. U. For a ceremony honoring Phoenix Union sport teams of class of 1960. Never saw him without a smile on his face. May you Rest In Peace.
