Charles Lenhart Obituary

Charles Clyde Lenhart, 73, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on May 10, 2008. Born in Kingwood, WV. Korean War veteran who served in the Navy. During his career in Phoenix he served as a baker for the Phoenix Union High School District and Safeway until he retired in 1997. Survived by Janet Schaeffer Lenhart wife of 53 years, daughter Jo Ellen Casagrande (Gino), sons Todd (Kim), Chuck and Brad. Sisters Beverly Rose and Lynda Steele of Phoenix, brother Edward Lenhart of Sun City, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ's Community Church 4530 W. Thunderbird Rd. Glendale, AZ 85306 or Odyssey Health Care 202 E. Earll Ste. #160 Phoenix, AZ 85012.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
