I was so fortunate to have worked for you and with you. I got to know you when you got promoted to Morey as an Lt. At that time I discovered we had alot in common such as you and I beginning our DOC careers at the South Unit and having similar tastes in music. I remember when we shared an office, we'd discuss personal issues and joked around with a little bit of work somewhere in between. I'll cherish those memories. Danny, I'll miss you greatly and say hi to Cannon for me.

Our beautiful Danny... glad is my heart that I was able to see you on your final day on Earth. Many were the friends and loved ones that paid tribute to your honor today. You will live on in our hearts until we are all reunited again one day and then it will be like the good ole days. May your journey be safe my friend.

I wish I would have had one more chance to say hello instead of having to say goodbye. I know that the loss that Danny's brothers and sisters here at Lewis feel is nothing compared to the loss you must be feeling. Danny was a smile on a gloomy day, he always brought laughter to those around him with his witt and sense of humor. He will be missed and remembered by myself and many others. I am deeply sorry and hope that at least a small amount of comfort comes from knowing how loved he was and that his memory will last past the pain of his passing

Danny I enjoyed working with you so very much. I enjoyed your sense of humor and especially liked when we would play good cop and bad cop when questioning suspects. I love you and will miss you. Your friend Sergeant Dennis Marion couldn't ask for a better Lt and friend. I will see you again I'm sure on the other side.

I wish you all peace and comfort in this most difficult time. I'll always remember Danny as a great guy with an incredible sense of humor. I have many good memories of hanging out with Danny & Onic when we were all kids! Especially that wild look he would get when he was about to start acting crazy and having fun. I regret that we didn't share more of those times as adults. I'll have to try and find the pics of us as kids at those birthday parties at Encanto Park. We must have been like 2 or 3 years old. Renee and Onic... I'm here if you need anything. To Danny's wife & family... I don't know you well at all, but know that he was loved by his cousins through and through. I love you cousin. Rest in peace...
