Dawn Bronson Obituary

Root Bronson, Dawn
Dawn Root Bronson, 37, of Phoenix, passed away in the arms of her maker, April 24, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Dawn was born December 7, 1978 in Canton, Illinois and was a 1997 graduate of Rushville High School. After earning a Bachelors and Masters degree in Finance and International Finance from Western Illinois University, Dawn moved to Phoenix, Arizona to pursue a career in the banking industry. The consummate professional, Dawn excelled throughout her career at Wells Fargo and had most recently held the post of Credit Analyst Supervisor. Never one to shy from hard work, her job was a priority throughout her illness. Dawn met the love of her life, John Bronson on a night out in Scottsdale and in true "fairy tale" fashion, lived the last 10 years of her life happily by his side. Whether it was a date to the movies or tickets to the ball game, John and Dawn were always up for a night on the town as long as they were with each other. She was so very proud of John and her brother-in-law Demitrius' careers in the NFL and was NEVER one to miss the opportunity to cheer on her family members as they took the field! She will be greatly missed by her husband John; father, Rick Root of Fort Myers, Florida; mother, Becky (Phil) Koch of Ripley, Illinois; Grandparents, Don and Mary Root of Rushville, Illinois and Rose Spears of Beardstown, Illinois; her sister, Danielle Barrett of Rushville, IL; Demitrius Bronson (Tatiana), brother-in-law of Phoenix. Nieces Brynlee Barrett and Amyah Bronson; Nephew Deuce Bronson. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28th at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church, 6300 E. Bell Road in Scottsdale, with visitation one hour prior to the service. In Dawn's memory, John would be deeply grateful to anyone wishing to give a donation in Dawn's memory to her favorite charity, Uplifting Athletes Rare Disease, 112 Market Street, Suite 301, Harrisburg, PA 1710 (www.upliftingathletes.org)
