Mr Peyton was a great guy that i had the pleasure of working with for a few short years. He shared a love for cars and guns as i do and he was always supportive of me and proud like my father is that i joined the Marine Corps. I cant put into words what a great person he was and how much i liked him and will miss him. My best wishes to his family.

Many things come to mind when I think of Don Peyton. I remember the times we spent flying model airplanes and racing his RC cars. I remember wrestling on the floor as I tried to escape his smelly sock from being rubbed on my face. I remember all the times with Mimi and Po and Nana eating at Wendys. I can still see the green house we stayed at in Tucson and the tree in the back yard that was infested with Palo Verde Beetles. But most of all I remember your laugh and your sometimes wild sense of humor and as I look back, I realize that you are very much a part of who I am today and I am glad. I was only your stepson for a small portion of my life but you will always be my friend and I will always be your "sport". You gave me Fleetwood Mac, rides in the IROC, Back to the Future, a love for both the works of Stevie Nicks and the state of Arizona, but most of all you gave me love in every way that you knew how and I am thankful you were part of my life. I love you.

Cindy, I am devestated. I just heard about Don passing today. I tried to call him a few weeks ago and just went to voice mail. I didn't think much of it because the last time we had a talk, maybe four weeks, he told me he was doing ok. Sarah and I send our deepest sympathies to you and the girls. I wish We had been aware of the services. You are in our prayers as Don was.

Dear Peyton Family,
I was so lucky to have seen Don this last summer at our high school reunion. Thirty years ago, I was just the little sister of his girlfriend Charlotte and he barely tolerated my presence. The summer of 1972 a group of us traveled through Californa by bus and it was a wonderful experience. When I saw him this summer he was so warm and friendly, I loved talking to him and seeing him. I feel blessed for just that small opportunity. My sincerest sympathy to your whole family for your considerable loss.

Dear Cindy & family,
I feel so privledged to have known & worked with Don. He knew how to bring out the best in everyone & make them feel valued & special. Don worked hard & was smart. I was always impressed with his talents & interests, he had so many. He loved & honored his family so much. He was so proud of his wife & children. (he talked about you all the time.) Despite what he was going through he knew how to make me feel at ease. I will miss his support, guidance & remember all I gained & learned from him. He was a true fighter, a good soul. My heart goes out to you all.

Don,
It's been a good many years since we graduated 8th grade together. Mrs Phelps taking us by the hair and pulling us outside! She wouldn't be able to do that to me today! We had some good times but lost touch over the years. I have always remembered the friendship we had growing up together and again I say goodbye but only for a while.
My condolences to the Peyton family. We have never met but your husband / father was a great friend.

I give my deepest sympathy to all the family and friends of Don.
Don, I will always remember you! I really enjoyed knowing you! I will always have fond memories of when we worked together. We had a few hobbies in common and did some good trading and such over the years I worked with you. We always talked of getting together one day outside of work, but unfortunately we never got the chance to do it. I will never forget you! You don’t come across too many people in life like Don. It was a pleasure knowing him. I know he was very well liked & respected by his employees over the years. I can hear him doing a burnout in the sky! He loved to drive! He will be missed!

Iam very sorry for you and your family at this time. Don was such a fun loving person, and one of the BEST managers I ever had. My rememberance of him will always be NASCAR, and coming into work to see a huge smile when one of his drivers won. My thoughts go out to the entire family in this time of grief.
