In 1985 they moved to Scottsdale to develop an Admissions program for The Judson School. After the death of Al, she worked as office manager for Financial Discovery Associates and the law firm of Gibney and Associates. Janet was an active member of the Legend Trail Home Owner Committee before moving into the Vi at Silverstone. Janet is survived by daughters Pamela Cerchie (Dino) and Leslie Uhlenbruck (Klaus) and son Allan Hilton, grandchildren Thomas and Taylor Cerchie, Benjamin, Stephanie and Timothy Uhlenbruck, and Alayna and Rowan Hilton, brother William A. Stuart II and sister Mary Melinda McCabe. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. A celebration of Janet's life will be announced at a future date. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. She was always a very friendly and helpful person to me at Orme and gave me some great advice to get me through those school years.
I have fond memories of walking next to her on campus as we spoke.

To Janet's fantastic children and grandchildren my sympathy goes out to you at our sudden loss of your mother. As her young sister I already miss her quick retorts and gentle kindness. She was dynamic and courageous and she always cared for others. May God bless her soul. Melinda
