Jean graduated from Lynn High School in 1948 and married Robert E. White in August of 1949. Jean and Bob lived most of their adult lives in and around Columbus, Indiana until Bob's death in 1972, after which she moved to Arizona. In Arizona Jean worked for CPS Direct Marketing, SkyMall and ManPower before retiring in 1997. Later she enjoyed being a hostess at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater and made many friendships among her 'guests' and co-workers. She is survived by her daughter Bobbi Glover and her husband Byron of Mesa, AZ and two sons Steven White (Rosemary) of Castle Rock, CO and Martin White (Patrice) of Toledo, OH., three grandsons; Sam Glover of Mesa, Jonathan White of Toledo, OH and Alex White of Castle Rock, one granddaughter Amanda of Castle Rock, and one great-grand daughter Jackie also of Castle Rock. She is also survived by two sisters, Marla and Rita; brothers Richard (Dick) and Larry and many much beloved nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death, in addition to Bob, are her brothers Harold and Paul and sisters Betty and Virginia. Her wish to be laid to rest beside her husband at Garland Brook in Columbus will be honored by her children. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014, whom her daughter would like to thank for their very special care of her mother.

Dear Steve, Marty, and Bobbie, I'm thinking of you all at this sad time. We are so lucky that our parents were friends. We always had the best times together. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bobbi, Marty & Steve: This is a very sad time and even though we have been far apart I still feel we are all a close "family". I loved your mother and your father and always felt at home and one of the kids when visiting. I know your mom and dad are having a great reunion now and that is a comforting thought. They probably began the morning with a bowl of Wheaties! Know that I'm thinking of you and I love you all.
