Jimmy Roman Obituary
57 of Phoenix, was called home to God on January 30, 2013. He was born on December 23, 1956 to Jose Roman and Trinidad Medina. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents and sister Jessie. He leaves behind daughters, Veronica (Daniel) Gonzales, Juanita (Sergio) Hernandez, son Jimmy Jr. (Tanya) Roman, grandchildren Alyssa, Alexis, Bella, Gilbert, Sophia, Gabriel, Olivia, and Danni Rose, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Jimmy had an undeniable love for his children, grandchildren, music, classic cars and trucks, martial arts and food, especially sweets. His passion was the box and bass guitar and loved to sing. He is also a former band member of Image and Aztlan. Jimmy last worked as a driver for Arizona Bag Company and previously for Southwest Airlines as Ramp Agent. Services will be held at South Mountain Mortuary, 7007 S. Central Ave., Phoenix, Az 85042 on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 3:00-6:00 pm. Our beloved father, you will be forever in our Hearts. Service entrusted to Universal Memorial Center.

Dad, we knew little morning that God was going to call you home. A part of us went with you, you did not go alone. We were left with our hearts shattered into a million pieces and an emptiness inside. Although, we're overwhelmed with sadness, my mind is at ease knowing that your soul is at rest. I think God seen your tired face, He seen your pain & suffering and knew you wouldn't get well here on earth. So He closed your weary eyes and put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. I thank you for all the wonderful memories! Thank you for all the good times, the laughter and love. I'm so grateful for the love you shared with us kids and grandkids. We were all so blessed to have been a part of your life. You were such a loving, kind, generous, peaceful man of God. I look forward to the day we are together again. Your love is forever imprinted in our hearts. WE love & miss you Dad/tata Dad/Pops

Daddy, words could never describe the pain I felt in my heart the day we lost you. I take comfort in knowing that your spirit lives on in heaven free from pain and suffering.I will miss you but I know that I will see you again someday.Enjoy your new life in the Promise Land. I will always love you!

Dearest Uncle Jimmy you were and always will be my favorite Tio. You were a special and inspirational role model. The beauty you put on this earth remains here. My days will be filled with sorrow with your passing but forever filled with joy. Your Nu Nu will always be with you.
