Keith Danforth Obituary

Danforth, Keith Alan
Keith Danforth, blessed his family with his presence for 55 years, a life too short for all those who knew him. He passed away on May 14, 2015. Keith grew up near LAX, so airplanes and helicopters played a very important part in his life. He graduated from Alhambra High School in 1977, he learned his life-long trade of aircraft sheet metal repair while in the Army and worked at being the best in his field. He often times amazed engineers at Boeing with his knowledge and expertise. He traveled the world repairing and making helicopters with Boeing, MD Helicopters and Phoenix Heliparts. Keith was equally passionate about rock 'n roll, having amassed a collection of concert t-shirts from the '70s through to the 2010s. Someone so alive and full of passion for his work and his art is going to be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Catherine, his son, Kirk, his sisters Beth Cadman (Ron) and Alice Boykin (Marcus), his parents David and Nancy Walter and Mary Danforth, his grandmothers, Ethel Arrowsmith and Nell Danforth and his nephews Alan Cadman (Catherine), Eric and Andrew Cadman. Donations should be sent to Hospice of the Valley or Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Services will be held at Dayspring United Methodist Church in Tempe.

It has been years and years Catherine, but I will always remember you and Keith introducing me to G&R in the 80's. I never met a better matched couple than you and Keith. May he rest in peace. God Bless you my dear. Nanette E Chavez
