Laura Zink Obituary

Zink, Laura Jean
age 63, of Birmingham died September 5, 2015. She was born in Virginia, but spent most of her life in California and Arizona. She was a graduate of Long Beach State. She retired as the director of the Phoenix Office of Disability Adjudication and Review in 2011. She moved to Birmingham the same year. She is survived by her husband, Mark Jones; her daughters, Amy and Mallory Zink both of Phoenix, Arizona; step-sons, Matthew Jones of Anniston, AL and Andrew Jones of Birmingham, AL; nephews, Nathan and Sam Jones, and a host of friends and other relatives. She was a delightful person, and will be sorely missed. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Homewood starting at 12:00 noon with a service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Charter Funeral Home.

My heart goes out to Laura's friends and family. I counted Laura as a friend and missed her when she retired and moved. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
