Martin Steffenhagen Obituary

Steffenhagen, Martin Edward
63, of Redwood Fall, MN formerly of Phoenix, AZ passed away on October 29, 2016. He was born on May 16, 1953 in Moline, Illinois to Rev. Warren R and Mavis E (Sievert) Steffenhagen. He graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School in Appleton, WI in 1971. After attending Northwestern College and Dr. Martin Luther College, he graduated from University of Phoenix in 1984. He married Glenda M Erickson on July 6, 1974. He was hard-working, and did a variety of jobs His latest employment was with Thielen Bus Lines and Martin Luther College. He is survived by sisters Debbie (Fran) Wranosky, Cynthia (Bob) Bristol, Kathy (Jim) Spencer; ex-wife Glenda, 4 children Tracie (Mike) Wendt, Michelle (Mike) Behrens, Kevin (Alicia) Steffenhagen, Paul (Kira) Steffenhagen, and 9 grandchildren. A graveside service was held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Spruce, WI. A memorial service will be held on December 17, at 1PM, Emmanual Lutheran, 715 W Southern Avenue, Tempe, AZ. rhodescharapata.com Memorials for Alpha Pregnancy Counseling Center (Phoenix AZ), Arizona Lutheran Academy (Phoenix, AZ), or Martin Luther College (New Ulm, MN) are suggested.

To say I was shocked to hear this would truly be an understatement. Martin is a friend of mine for the last 10+ years, working with me at All Aboard America. I will be there on Saturday and have asked a few others to attend. My deepest sympathies to his family!
