Michael Robbins Obituary
Scottsdale - Michael James Robbins passed away at home in Scottsdale, AZ on Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was born in Detroit, MI on April 6, 1935 to Archie and Sigrid Robbins.
Mike's family moved to Scottsdale in 1947. Mike graduated from Scottsdale High School in 1953. He attended Arizona State University.
Mike owned and operated service stations in Scottsdale for 16 years. He then opened his first Midas Auto Service shop in Tempe in 1976. He expanded the business to 16 Midas shops throughout Arizona.
Mike was a member of the Scottsdale Charros, the Scottsdale Mounted Sheriff's Posse, the Verde Vaqueros and the Arizona Early Day Gas Engine and Tractor Association.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Kitty of 55 years; his children: Dennis (Cheralee), Amy Zupke (Dana) and Matt; his nine grandchildren: Madalyn Nelson (Michael), Carlton, Veronica, Zachary, William, Clayton, Charlotte, Benjamin and Caroline.
A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on November 24, 2018 at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church, 6300 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. Reception to follow.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Charro Foundation or La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church.

Dear cousin Kitty, I was so sorry to hear of Mikes passing from Joann. I have fond memories of Mikes Big white Thanksgiving turkeys from years ago. And his awesome John Deere tractor collection. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, cousin Richard
