Pritchard, Myra Jean
A memorial service for Myra Jean Pritchard, 88, resident of Chandler will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Chandler Christian Church, 1825 S. Alma School Road, Chandler, AZ. A celebration of her life will follow the memorial service at church. She entered Heaven's gates on November 21, 2012. Myra Pritchard was born in Barberton, Ohio on November 3, 1924. She was the daughter of Harry and Flosse Mitchell. She was united in marriage to Charles Pritchard on August 28, 1943. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1993. Myra was a retiree of Motorola. After she retired, she did volunteer work in Chandler Regional Hospital and East Valley Women's League. She enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking, cards and board games. Myra had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of Chandler Christian Church. Over the years, she had become very involved with the church and assisted with numerous events. She is survived by her son and spouse: Daniel (Cheri) Pritchard, daughter-in-law Jan Shaffer, two grandchildren: Rachael (Bob) Hedrick and Jonathan Pritchard, two great-grandchildren: Courtney and Lauren Hedrick, sisters-in-law Hettie Mitchell and Joan Mitchell, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles D. Pritchard, her daughter, Bonnie Martin, 2 brothers Robert and Jack Mitchell and her sister Betty Harp.

On behalf of Chandler Regional Medical Center's Volunteer Services department we wish to extend our thanks to Myra for her service as a volunteer. Myra went out of her way to make life a little better for those going through difficult times. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
