To the family of Nate the Great from Looneycat, Frank Sanders his teammate and long time friend. Nate's exceptional personality and passion for life keyed some of the memories and good times that we shared during the times that we spent together as team mates and friends as i shared my last smile with Nate the Great. May the Spirit of the Lord give you the peace that surpasses all understanding during your grieving time. I will always keep my treasured memories of Nate in my heart. May God bless and keep you.

I have been knowing Nate since high school when we meet up at state basketball tournament in the 60's. He was a very nice person, he was not only a winner in basketball but he had a winning personality. I was impressed with him because he was a big man in the sports arena, but he seemed to have a big heart. He was somebody to be looked up to by young men and old alike. We pray for God's healing power to the broken hearts of all those who loved him.

We both grew up knowing Nate. He was the same everytime that you saw him. He had a laugh that was very infectious, and before you knew it you were falling out laughing yourself.I remember watching Nate playing basketball with my brother, Frank Sanders, another friend of Nate's, they were on the same team. They were a exciting team to watch.

Whenever he and Rocelle would come to town, they made a point of stopping by, just to say, "Hello",sometimes sharing a bite to eat. We will miss him and pray that God will give Rocelle all the strength she will need to endure his loss, and that she will stay in touch with us. True friends are hard to come by, even harder to lose.

When I suffered a serious accident back in 1980, Nate was there to teach me how to look at the world in a hold new light. In return I had to cook him catfish any time of the day. With these thoughts, I send my prayers to his family.
