My sympathy and concerns go out to you, Mrs. Shill, and the Shill family. As an RN, having worked with Dr. Shill in ENT almost every week and sometimes more often (from 1980 until his Mission in Florida), I want to say I learned so much from him and his assistant about the ENT specialty, and more humanitarian concerns than I could possibly enumerate. Dr. Shill's dedication to more than one specialty and his church was always evident in his actions and he used humor to soften advice and guidance along the way. I'm thankful for the privilege of knowing and working with him.

Our love, sympathy, and prayers are with the Shill family at this sad time. Dr. Shill was my Doctor for many years until he moved on to work with his church. He was a wonderful person; very intelligent, funny, and caring. My Mother, who is a retired RN, worked with him for years in his ENT surgeries. Mom had great respect for him as a Physician. Dr. Shill was a force of nature who will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

My mission experience with the President and Sister Shill brought to my then aging life the greatest of blessings. Love, friendship, growth in the Gospel and their friendship in the years after. Thank you for your presences in my life.

May the many memories he helped create find root in your hearts and bring sweet recollection to your minds as you both mourn and celebrate his great life...and may God bless and help you through this process.

President Shill was a one-of-a-kind. He was not only a gentle giant, but also one who never forgot to have a sense of humor. I am so grateful for the experiences I had with him, and appreciate his legacy of love. May he rest in peace, and may his family know of my love for them at this difficult time.
With much love,

If the measure of a man's life lies in how often he is thought of fondly, and by how many people, long after he is gone, then Otto S. Shill truly lived a great life. I will cherish my memories of him always. My heartfelt condolences to Sister Shill and all of your family!

I feel so blessed to have had him as a mission president. He taught me many great things that i have carried with me through the years. One of the greatest thing I learned from him was service to others, especially to your spouse. I will treasure my memories of him and Sister Shill always.

A truly gracious, kind, loving soul my brother-friend-stengthener-server Otto Stronach Shill, Jr will ever be eternally. How I love him, his sweetheart, his parents, and siblings, including in-laws, and posterity. True saints, they all are!
