Richard Craig Obituary

Craig, Richard Charles "Dickmo"
Richard Charles Craig (Dickmo) lost his long battle with diabetes and heart disease at 11:11 AM on May 30, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona. Richard was born in Fairmont MN on March 19, 1948. He graduated from Fairmont High School in 1966 and served with the Army in Viet Nam. Dickmo, as his many friends called him, was very active in the dart players community where he organized and ran dart tournaments for several years until his health prevented him. His other interests included riding his motorcycle, collecting coins, clocks, watches, and especially any Mickey Mouse articles. Dickmo also enjoyed making unusual ballpoint writing pens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl, Sr. and Henrietta Craig and his sister, Jeanette Holm. Richard is survived by his wife Lauri, son Scott Craig, brother Earl (Butch) Craig Jr., sister Rosemarie McDonald, stepsons Brad and Curt; plus several Nieces, Nephews, and grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 3 pm with viewing between 2 and 3 on Saturday June 6th at Green Acres Mortuary, 5830 W Missouri Avenue, Glendale AZ 85301. Internment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Richard asked that donations be made to The Heart and/or Diabetes Associations. Condolences may be sent to www.chapelofthechimesmortuary.com

I am so happy I talked to you on Friday. You were the best little brother that any one could ever ask for. I don't know how you will do this but keep sending me messages To SIS. You were the only one to use that name and it will be so missed. Your snowmobileing will be some days to remember. You had the most beautiful smile. Your eyes twinkle. I love you and miss you terrible. Talked to Lauri and she is hanging in there like a real trooper. Hugs
