Rick Johnson Obituary

Johnson, Rick Alistair
Rick was born on March 5, 1979 in Phoenix, AZ to parents Morris "Butch" Johnson and Cecily Johnson (now Cecily Rhue). He passed away on August 16, 2015 at the age of 36. Rick is survived by his son, Michael, his sister, Bree, his mother, Cecily, his grandmother Barbara, and ex-wife, Sherri. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, step-brother, step-sisters, and step-mom. Rick was kind-hearted and liked by everyone he met. He was incredibly smart, funny and witty, and could always make you laugh or smile. He always found the humor in any situation which made being around him even better. He enjoyed music, reading and drawing and he loved anything Spider-Man. His greatest accomplishment in life was his son, Michael, whom he loved with all his heart. A Memorial will be held on September 12th at 5:00. Please contact Bree at [email protected] for more information. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to The Salvation Army: In Honor of Rick Johnson, 2707 E. Van Buren St, Phoenix, AZ 85008, (Credit card donations can be made by phone at 602.302.7177). Rick will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched.

I saw this and was saddened. I went to first grade with Cecily and have never forgotten her. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.

I am so very sorry to hear of Ricks passing. My sincere condolences to the family. He was far to young to leave so soon.
