Roger Bissonnette Obituary

Bissonnette, Roger Alan
52, of Surprise, Arizona passed away on March 19, 2016. Roger was born in Arizona and graduated from Arizona Lutheran Academy. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years on submarines, lastly as Storekeeper First Class. He loved going to NASCAR events, listening to country music, cooking for family and friends, keeping in touch with his military friends, and teasing everyone he met. He is survived by his wife Lisa, son James, stepchildren Lynn Ogozalek (John) and Darrell Ross, his mother Ann Bissonnette, siblings Ann Staley, Carl Staley, and Gloria Cosgrove (Robert), three step-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Sara, father Albert, and brother Bill Staley. Roger is interred at the National Memorial Cemetery, Cave Creek, AZ. You are much loved and deeply missed. Rest in Peace, Roger.

To the Bissonnette Family,

On behalf of the Charleston Base SUBVETS and Swamp Fox Chapter SUBVETS WWII, I offer you our sincere condolences on Roger's passing. We grieve with you on the loss of your loved one and all SUBVETS and their families have your family in our thoughts and prayers. There is no expiration date on the back of our dolphins and Roger will always be remembered as a Brother of the Phin and a great Patriot.

May you rest in peace and may God bless your loved ones who remain. Thank you for your service to our country."
