Monica and family, my heart goes out to you. I am so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. I first met Scott in 5th grade, in Prescott Arizona. We went to high school and college together as well. He always had an infectious smile and a way to make everyone feel at ease. This is how I will remember him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Scott over 30 years ago when we played t-ball together. We continued playing ball throughout the years and then I was fortunate enough to graduate high school with him and spend time together in Tucson. He was truly a man of honor and grace. Peace, prayers and blessings to his family.

Monica and family: Ginnie and I empathize with your loss. We know from personal experience that when someone close passes too soon the loss is felt more intensely. Scott was too young and had much to offer the world. Our prayers are for you in this time of mourning.

I will never forget my brother and will always regret not staying in touch as much as I should have. I will always miss him and look at his life as an example for me to follow. He was a much better person than even the blessed few and this world is worse for his passing. My deepest sympathies to all that loved him; Monica, the kids, Mike, Mr. Stewart, the rest of his extended family, and friends. You will always be loved and missed Brother...

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so saddened by the loss of Scott. He was an amazing person. I met him at the Gilbert Court since I am a prosecutor there and he a defense attorney. He always had a smile on his face and was a pleasure to work with - he was honest and had such a wonderful demeanor. He will be greatly missed. He can never be replaced. I hope that time will allow your family to heal and the pain of loss be filled with loving and fun memories of Scott.

I went to junior high and high school with Scott in Prescott. He was a great friend and I will always remember his sense of humor and smile with those braces. He will be greatly missed, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He and I would often debate the role of the criminal defense attorney in our system. He took a lot of pride in what he did and he had a lot of respect for those in law enforcement.

I am exceedingly sorry to hear of Scott's untimely passing. Like Ms. Perkins, I met Scott in high school and was very fond of him. He always had a mischievous grin that made me wonder what he was thinking. During high school and since, I have never heard anyone utter a negative thing about Scott, which is rare in today's social climate. Nor did I ever hear him say a negative thing about anyone else, which is a mark of exceptional character and integrity. I am certain he has touched many lives for the better in the short time he had with his family, friends, colleagues and clients. From one law dog to another, Scott, you will be spectacularly missed. I am glad to have known you, however brief.

I was so sorry to hear about Scott's passing, my thoughts and my prayers go out to his family. I had the pleasure of meeting Scott back in Junior High and while we may have not had a chance to talk in many years, I felt so lucky to have known him. Scotts's smile was infectious, he could make you smile just by saying Hi! The Scott I remember had a love of life and that was ever present in the years we went to school together, which I am sure carried over into his adult life. I am sorry Scott's time was so short, but know he led life to the fullest. You will be missed Scott!
