Sebastian Prato Obituary

Sebastian "Sam" Prato died Wednesday April 30, 2003 in Queen Creek, Arizona. He was 53. Sam was born on July 24, 1949 in Sicily, Italy to the late Giovanni & Maria (Roccazzelia) Prato and moved to Arizona in 1959. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1971 to 1977 and was a Motorola Test Engineer for many years. He married Sally Jo Foster on December 31, 1979. He is survived by his wife: Sally Prato; 4 daughters: Maria Prato, Angela Prato, Samantha Prato, Sarah Prato; sisters: Frances LaMagna and Connie Arena. He was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Prato. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 3, 2003 at Chandler Christian Church, 1825 5. Alma School Road in Chandler. Contributions, in his name, to The American Diabetes Association, 9034 N. 23rd Ave., #8, Phoenix, AZ 85021 or to The American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ, 85016, have been suggested by his family. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary.

Sam and I worked together for several years at Motorola. I will always remember his devotion to his family and his caring nature. Such devotion would serve as a model for fathers everywhere. May God bless you and your wonderful family.
