Tanya Baldwin Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce Tanya Baldwin has succumbed to cancer on January 18, 2013. She fought it for 4 years courageously with humor and grace. Tanya was born on December 20, 1968. A Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, Cousin and Friend; she will be deeply missed by all. Tanya was a caring, energetic and compassionate person and she embraced life to the fullest. Visitation will be held from 12 - 1pm with a Funeral Service at 1pm, Friday, January 25, 2013 at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix. Flowers are appreciated or donations to the Hospice of the Valley, Eckstein Center, 9808 N. 95th Street, Scottsdale.

My lil sister with the great big wonderful smile! It was wonderful to chat with you recently. I wish I had known the fight that you were enduring was one that I would have helped you fight. You have earned your Eagle wings and now fly freely to the heavenly home without pain and still that same sweet smile. You were a dear friend to my sisters but to me you were my lil sister with lotsa of love and hugs! God bless you!

Even in her final months, she had so much courage and strength, that her beautiful smile still radiated through difficult times. In one of her last texts she sent me, she indicated that there was so much time lost and that, she wanted for us to always keep in touch, granted, we were family and attended the same schools. In the short time we had, we texted, shared family pictures, laughed and enjoyed the moments. The memories of my cousin Tanya, will forever remain in our hearts.

My heart is broken and cannot express enough how much i am going to miss my cousin. My daily text and our visit was not enough or too short. I will treasure every minute we shared and you will not be forgotten. I love you my beautiful cousin and relieved there is no more pain for you! Until we see one another again!
