Thomas Earl Carr

Thomas Earl Carr, 59, of Scottsdale Arizona passed away January 24, 2006. Tom was born in Wichita, Kansas in 1946 and moved to Arizona in 1971 to attend the U of A in Tucson, where he received his Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Tom spent his lifetime helping others as a Rehabilitation Counselor, teacher and outdoor recreation leader for the disabled. His legacy is the family members, friends, clients and children whose lives he touched and changed. His battle with his illness was fought with courage and inspiration. Tom's greatest love and accomplishment was being the best Father he could be to his three cherished children. He will be dearly missed. Tom is survived by his children, Sean Michael, Ryan Marshall and Paige Seung Mee, his ex-wife and friend, Joey Carr, sister and nephew, Sue Carr and Ben, mother in law, Libby Kotovsky, the Stearman and Mendelsohn Families, and many beloved friends across the state. The family wishes to thank the many kind caregivers at Paradise Valley ICU, and the ever hopeful, cherished friends of Select Specialty Care for their gentle kindness. Memorial service and reception will be held Monday, January 30, 3:00PM at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd.
