We will miss Trennis deeply. When I have had a bad day at work Trennis always was able to make me laugh.
We would show off our new jewelry. His always bigger and brighter.
He loved our son and Josh(our 11year old) loved him too, couldn't wait to see him. My husband has a shirt that says "yes, you can" on it. Trennis ran with that one, and we all laughed. There were other memories, also. Yes, he will be missed by all.

Although I did not know you long, you made quite an impression on me. You will surely be missed. The last time I dined at Haus Murphy's it was with friends, and of course you. Everytime I hear New York New York, I will think of you.

We owe a lot to Trennis and we will deeply miss him. He always treated us like we were the only customers in the restaraunt. He hosted our wedding rehersal dinner and even took the time to get us a Christmas present. We're better people for knowing someone as special as he. He'd always show off his latest jewelry "find" and walk us to our car. Our only regret; not getting to take him out for the same kind of special dinner he always gave us.

Trennis last served us on January 31st for my birthday party. He said he was recovering from a cold but we commented later that evening that he didn't seem well. I am so grateful to have chosen Haus Murphy's for this party and the opportunity to share in Trennis' vocation and humor one last time.
Friends who visit from all over the country will mourn upon learning of his passing. Trennis made customers feel like friends, and friends feel like family.
I will think of Trennis everytime a peppermill grinds, or I lift a litre of Optimator. Thank you Trennis........and rest in peace.

Trennis was a gem. What a loss to Haus Murphy's and the Glendale community. I invited him once to a pig roast at our house and he came in full regalia in spite of the heat. I was just so honored that he attended. He didn't have a car so he even took a taxi. I am glad that I called ahead for reservations for dinner this Friday, ready to ask for a table that Trennis would wait on and heard the news "gently," kindly enough by Haus Murphy's rather than arrive and be astounded. Goodbye, Trennis. You were certainly as your business cards stated: Waiter Extraordinaire.

I have known Trennis for many years, since he worked at Bitzee's then went to Murphy's. He touched many people's lives with his wonderful attitude and friendly face. He always had a kiss on the cheek for me. I will surely miss this man. A void hard to fill for Murphy's.

Trennis was the absolute best waiter in Arizona. Haus Murphy's has suffered a great loss as well. He will be truly missed. I will always think about him whenever I go there from now on. I remember when he got a business card for Christmas and he was passing them out. I still have his and will always keep it.
