Ray, Troy Michael
25, of Maricopa, AZ passed away on October 5, 2010. He was surrounded by family and friends as his 8 year courageous battle with Sarcoma Cancer came to an end. Troy was born on July 30, 1985 and grew up in Mesa, Arizona. He had a passion for computers, video games and fixing electronics and will be remembered for his love, compassion and willingness to help others. He was a hard worker and always had kind words for others. Troy was the definition of a true hero and was an inspiration to everyone he met. He was diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer when he was just 17 years old and always remained positive throughout his treatments. He lived by the saying "Everything Happens For a Reason". Even in the last few months of his life, he was striving to be a righteous person & accomplished so many spiritual things. Troy will forever be in our hearts, waiting for us with open arms in heaven. He is survived by loving parents Craig Ray & Laura McClanahan, Step-Father, Michael McClanahan; sisters Kimberly Miller & Rebecca Ray; Brother-in-law Joseph Miller; Niece Tyla Miller; Nephew Chase Miller; Paternal Grandparents Harold & Muriel Keyser; Maternal Grandfather Willis Hardy; Step-Sister, Laura McClanahan; Step-Brothers, Brad (Taura) McClanahan & Ryan McClanahan; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind many loving friends. The viewing for Troy will be held on Wed, Oct 13, 2010, from 6:00 to 9:00PM at the Allen Funeral Home, 1130 S. Horne St., Mesa, AZ. Funeral Service will be Thurs, Oct 14, 2010, at 10:00AM with a viewing from 9:00 to 9:45AM at the LDS Lazona Ward Building at 1500 East 6th Ave, Mesa, AZ. Dedication of the Grave to follow at Mesa Cemetery entrance on Country Club, just north of Brown. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that you make a donation to Hospice of the Valley in Troy's honor.
