William Fethiere Obituary
Port Orchard, WA - William Fethiere was born in Les Cayes, Haiti November 15 1929.
His education included Baccalauréat en Lettres, Lycée Philippe Guerrier, Haiti, July 1948; Baccalauréat , Philosophy, Lycée Philippe Guerrier, Haiti, July 1949; Pre-Medical (P.C.B.), Université d'Haiti, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, July 1950; Faculté de médecine, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, October 1950-July 28, 1955, M.D. degree; and much more.
He is survived by spouse Patricia Fethiere of Washington, brother Andre Fethiere MD of New York, and sister Mathilde Heritier of Annemasse, France, and by children Alexander Fethiere of Washington, Marie-Jeanne Fethiere of New York, and Antoine Dietz of New York.
He enjoyed a prominent career as a pathologist for more than 30 years, retiring from Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix in 1994. After traveling extensively with his wife, he recently relocated to Port Orchard, Washington. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your charity of choice.
William's viewing will be held on April 6, 2018 from 10:00 - 11:30 AM at Rill's Life Tribute Center located at 1151 Mitchell Avenue, Port Orchard, WA 98366. William's memorial service will be held on April 6, 2018, starting at 12:00 PM at St. Bede Episcopal Church located at 1578 SE Lider Road, Port Orchard, WA 98366. Dear Pat,
Strange as it seems, I was thinking about you today, and then opened the paper and read of Bill's passing. He was a very special man , and i hope he did not suffer. I am glad you are there with Alex.
I have many fond memories of holidays with you and our mothers. I have missed you. I pray that you are well and will stay in good health.
