Our dear Aimee Suzette Anderson, aged 53 passed away on April 12, 2024, in Phoenix, AZ. Born on August 8, 1970, Aimee grew into a bright and loving individual, cherished by all who knew her.
Aimee attended Desert View Elementary School followed by Sunnyslope High School, and furthered her education at ASU. In her work life she enjoyed being a Sales Associate, her last position at Lane Bryant in Gilbert, Arizona, was especially good. Her kindness and enthusiasm was very appreciated.
Aimee was a lifelong follower of Christ. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She passionately loved Jesus and found great solace and joy in her church life. She loved to sing and offer her praise to the Lord.
Her personal interests were a reflection of her caring and spirited nature. Aimee touched so many people. She was a person who wanted everyone to know Jesus. She chose to make an impact on the people who needed help and understanding, who as Jesus said " we're the least of these. "Living in Flagstaff she loved the trees and walking her dogs on the wooded trails. She had great enjoyment for delicious food., listening to spiritual music, and watching the shows on PBS. She loved coffee and conversation. Shopping was also a passion, especially costume jewelry, and turquoise jewelry. She dressed herself carefully, always coordinating her outfits. She was so happy being cozy and comfortable. Her family also was a great source of comfort. Aimee was strong and courageous and her family was proud of her.
Aimee is survived by her mother, Melanie Anderson; sisters, Julie Anderson Garcia and Laura Anderson, son in laws Eric Garcia and Adam Feinstein, her niece's Sophia Garcia and Brynn Feinstein and her extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sherwood Franklin Anderson 90 years young.
A celebration of Aimee's life will be held on Friday, July 12 at 1 PM at Northland Christian Assembly Church in Flagstaff, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Aimee's memory to High Country Humane or Coconino Humane Association, honoring her love for animals.
