To Joel's Brother Bruce, please accept my deepest sympathy in loosing your loving brother.
In Joel's obituary, omitted from his family that he left behind are in the photos and comments below:
Joel and I met in December of 1972, while we both attended medical conference in Miami Beach and as the result of our three days love affair our daughter was born on September 4th 1973. Our daughter and her husband, have three children that are my and Joel's delightful grandchildren.
Although, Joel and I never met after three days in Miami, we stayed in touch by writing and often I would sent him our daughter's and grandkids photos.
Deeply saddened by Joel's death and sad that he never got to experience joys of fathering this beautiful family, but the reasons are by choice.
It is my hope that Joel is resting in peace knowing that he left behind not just his legacy as very fine physician and good man but also a father and grandfather to the remarkable family that is set to continue his legacy.

Dr Mack was my doctor over the course of a few years after a motorcycle wreck when I was 15 years old... I'm now 65. He made an impression on me and I've never forgotten him. Rest well, Joel...

I appreciated so much Dr. Macks bedside manner. He was very helpful to my mother and helped her avoid a surgery she didn't need. I recommended him at every opportunity.

Dr. Mack was my mother's surgeon. He replaced her hip. She was so nervous, and he put her right to ease. We both always spoke on how handsome he was! I also worked in the 1980's with Sandra at HP Sears. She was a very delightful person and I hope she is doing well.
