2016
Max was born April 15, 1992 in Bakersfield to Joey and Georgia Prado. He was later raised by Edward and Maureen King, and his manager and good friend, Courtney King, who greets him at Heavens' gates with his mother Georgia. He is survived by his father Joey and grandmother Tina of Oklahoma, and many friends.
He was an actor and producer, featured in the motion pictures "The Benchwarmers" (2006), and "Miss Guided" (2008), and the TV Sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" (2005).
He was Baptized Catholic and active in the St. Francis Parish Youth Group. Though Max was extremely talented, sadly, he suffered in his last years from the disease of addiction, and died of a drug overdose on March 13, 2016.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Church, 900 H Street, on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 9:00 am. In lieu of flowers, pray for all those who suffer from addiction and do a kind act in Max's memory.

Wow, this hit me hard. It had been a while since I'd seen Max and this was the last thing I expected. I love you dude and you were definitely someone who deserved better than your untimely death. At least you're no longer suffering. Rest in Paradise man

Max was my next door neighbor and i never realized it until it was brought to my attention about 10 years ago. I never believed it because hardly anyone from my hometown gets famous. But now that i did my reasearch, he was in Fact my neighbor and a childhood friend during the late 1990's. He was a great kid and a great person all around, kind, innocent and loved to play. I may have never known him personally after losing contact but that will always be the best memory ive had with him. Gone too soon. Gone too young.

One of the smartest most talented young men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing as a baby, a child and a young man while working and being great friends with his parents.

I don't know why I feel so saddened by your passing. Benchwarmers was one of my favourite movie growing up. You weren't much older than me. It's crazy how seeing people on the big screen makes life seem like a dream and you forget they're real people too and do go through the same things as everyone else. I think of you often

Max was a great young man and he was taking the journey in life that he understood. I was fortunate enough to spend a brief moment of my life getting to know him, but in that moment I begin to understand that this kid had a heart of gold. I know that Heaven is a much better place now that he is there.

A few years ago I answered a Craigslist listing for a work on a short film. Long story short I ended up meeting Max, because his aunt was producing the film. He was there just to there to help out, so he was able to help me with the boom mic and other things that needed to be done on the film. We both got a bad sun burn, because of the long day of shooting. I remember walking with him to a store in down town Bakersfield to get junk food and him telling me about Bakersfield. He was a funny guy to be around. I never received imdb credit for helping out, but I always thought it was worth it, because I was able to meet Max.
