Walter Fiorini Obituary

Walter Italo Fiorini December 14, 1937 - July 23, 2012 Walter lived his entire life in Kern County. He farmed for many years in the McFarland/Delano area, and his passion for growing things continued through-out his life. One of his proudest accomplishments was the beautiful vegetable garden he planted in his Kern City backyard each year. He loved sharing his fresh vegetables with his friends and neighbors. As a boy he worked on the ranch and raised a steer that won Grand Champion at the Kern County Fair. His adult life was also very active. He loved being in the country, and really treasured the time he spent at the duck club with all of his friends. We will all miss his smile and his infectious laugh. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Fiorini and Denise Fiorini, and his much beloved grandson Joseph Kent. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Janet Fiorini and sisters-in-law, Linda Fiorini and Nancy Fiorini. He would never forgive us if we did not mention his dog and constant companion, Lucky. The family wishes to mourn privately, so no services are scheduled. www.bakersfield.com/obits
