I worked for Mr. Bregel in the mid-70s (as an accountant advising tax consequences for divorcing parties) - I thoroughly enjoyed the almost two years with the firm and interacting with Mr. Bregel daily. My condolences to his family. Jerry Kandel - Nipomo, CA.

My deepest sympathies to Mr. Bregel's family. He and my Dad, Al Sause, enjoyed many fine days of upland game hunting on the farm. Heaven surely holds many quail and fine hunting dogs which they can follow once more.

Tim, Thank you for your sweet comment. Glad to hear you had fond memories of my grandfather and I'm sure he did of you, as well. Thanks so much.

I remember Mr. Bregel very well. Last time I spoke to him was sometime around 1980. First time I met him was at a pool party at his farm. He was cooking hamburgers by the pool and was having a great time. He cooked a good burger. Very sorry for your loss.
