Charles Salisbury Obituary

Charles H. Salisbury, Jr. (Charlie), President of Salisbury Broadcasting and former Board of Director of T. Rowe Price Associates and President and Chief Investment Officer of T. Rowe Price Trust company, passed away on October 30, 2023 of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy "PSP". He died peacefully at his Baltimore home. He was 83. He also has a residence in Naples, FL. In addition to his wife of 57 years, he is survived by two daughters, Anne O'Donovan Staley of Baltimore, Maryland and Katherine Gans Ryan (Kevin Ryan) of Severna Park, Maryland and two grandchildren, Franklin E.W. Staley, Jr. and Josephine O. Staley and one brother, Thomas Salisbury. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Guadalupe Center of Immokalee, Naples, FL; Hobart College, Geneva, NY; or Johns Hopkins Medicine, Baltimore, MD. A memorial service will be held at the Shrine of the Sacred Heart Church in Mt. Washington on Friday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m.

Charlie was an investment counselor, director of institutional marketing , head of the trust company and instrumental in the development of the bond department at T. Rowe Price Associates Inc. His wise counsel benefitted many large institutional clients.
