David Byrd Obituary

David Byrd, 70, went to the Lord on Monday, September 25, 2023 after a battle with brain cancer. David was a loving man devoted to his family until the end. He wanted to live the remainder of his life on hospice at home with his wife of 51 years, Jacqueline and his children and grandchildren. David had two children, Kimberly Sponaugle (Ed) and Jennifer (George) which was his whole life. His memory will live on through his grandchildren-Jessica, Madeline, Pierce and Mason. He adored the other children in his life through the years as well-Faith, Emily, Kendall, and Conor.

David was a hard working and devoted employee. He worked as a Warehouse Manager for Shepherd Electric for over 35 years. He gave his heart and soul to his work and his family.

Everyone that came into contact with David loved him and will remember his kind heart and love of animals. He was loved by many and will be missed. Visitation will be held at the family owned Highview Funeral and Cremation Services, 3433 Fallston Road, Fallston, MD 21047 on Thursday, September 28 from 10-12 pm with a graveside service to follow.
