George Wedmore Obituary
On July 2, 2014, George Edward Wedmore, III, known to his dearest friends as "Moe"; he was the cherished husband of M. Patricia Wedmore (nee Healy); beloved father of Dawn Simms, George Edward Wedmore, IV and his wife Kim and Wesley Wedmore and his wife Crystal. He was the devoted brother in law of Dale Healy and Donald Healy and his wife Gisela and proud grandfather of Tyler Wedmore. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. on Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm; where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Lorraine Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

Moe was a treasured friend throughout my childhood, teens and young adulthood. We shared many adventures, some of which still bring a smile when they come to mind. I always loved his voice. He sang like an angel! Now, he can sing with the angels. Rest in peace, my Friend, until we meet again.

I SPENT MANY DAYS AT THE COUNTER OF THE SUPPLY HOUSE LISTENING TO MOE SPIN A TALL TALE. CRAB NITES AT THE HOUSE WERE ALWAYS A GREAT TIME. HE WILL CERTAINLY BE MISSED. GONE WAY TO SOON.
