Gladys Latch Obituary

LATCH , Gladys B. On September 5, 2008 GLADYS (BOND), age 98, of Lexington, MA, a 92 year Baltimore, MD resident, recently of Acton, West Concorde, and Lexington, MA wife of the late William J. Latch, Jr. with whom she celebrated 52 years together. Survived by her son John Latch and his wife Frances of Westford, MA, two grandchildren Scott Latch and his wife Heather of Hampstead, NH and Sharon Clute and her husband Jim of Concorde, NH and two great-grandchildren Colin Zachary Latch and Sarah Kathleen Latch. Mrs. Latch attended public school in Baltimore, MD. She worked for Metropolitan Insurance for 12 years before stopping to raise her son. She is remembered as a loving wife and mother and a wonderful friend to all who knew her.
Friends may call at Loring Byers Funeral Directors, 8728 Liberty Road (2 mi. W. of Beltway Exit 18-B) Tuesday 12 noon to 1 p.m. where services will be held at 1 p.m. Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in her memory to the Volunteers of America-Massachusetts, 441 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
