Jacqueline Bauer

1997 - 2018

Jacqueline "Jackie" Sara Bauer passed away on September 18, 2018 in Stillwater, OK. Born July 29, 1997, she was the daughter of Ricky and Leslie Bauer of Dayton, MD and sister to Danielle and Andy Bauer. Jackie was a 2015 graduate of Glenelg High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and played on the school's volleyball team. She was completing her senior year at Oklahoma State University, where she studied Agriculture Communications and Animal Science, with a minor in German and was looking forward to beginning a career with John Deere after graduation. Jackie was an alumni of Howard County 4-H, where she showed hogs along with a variety of other 4-H projects. She was the 2015 Miss Howard County Farm Bureau, and third runner up in the Miss Maryland Agriculture Contest. She was a former member of the Team Purebred Junior Board and was president of her college chapter of Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow. The family held a private service and her remains will be cremated and spread on the family farm. A Celebration of Jackie's life is planned for Sunday, October 21 at 1:00 pm in the show ring at the Howard County Fairgrounds, West Friendship, MD. Jackie touched many lives during her short time with us, and will not soon be forgotten. To honor her memory, and in lieu of flowers and other gifts, the family has established a memorial scholarship fund in her name that will be offered thru the Howard County Farm Bureau.
