Mere words could never express the sorrow felt for the loss of Mr. Jefferson May our God and Father of peace and all tender mercies grant your family a calm heart

Dear Este and everyone -- I am so sad and sorry I can't be in Baltimore with you. I remember a sweet and spirited little boy running around your house with my brother Alan when our family visited, and also a smart, interesting and caring man. When I talked with Jefferson at family gatherings, I always wished we had time for a longer conversation. Please know Ken and I are thinking of all of you in this very sad time, and send our love,
